Greenway’s All-Scenario E-bike Lithium Battery Solutions and Battery Passport Shine at EUROBIKE 2025
2025/07/01
On June 25, 2025, EUROBIKE 2025—the annual flagship event of the global bicycle industry—was grandly held at the Frankfurt Exhibition Center in Germany. Greenway unveiled its latest comprehensive E-bike lithium battery solutions and battery passports, showcasing cutting-edge technologies that drive battery compliance forward and deliver high-performance lithium battery solutions to markets worldwide.
All-Scenario E-bike Lithium Battery Solutions: Ultimate Safety Under EN50604 Certification
At this year’s EUROBIKE, Greenway showcased a full-scenario product matrix, unveiling a complete lineup of E-Bike battery formats—including integrated, rear-mounted, range extender, and hanger-style models. Each solution is thoughtfully engineered to address specific usage needs such as urban commuting, outdoor adventures, and leisure cycling, precisely aligning with the diverse mobility demands of European users.
Lithium battery solutions represented by models such as the DZ-ZZ209, DZ-ZZ286, and DZ-SH07 have successfully passed the stringent technical review of the EN50604 certification standard. These products fully meet Europe’s core requirements for E-Bike batteries in terms of safety, reliability, and energy efficiency.
In terms of performance, Greenway’s self-developed Battery Management System integrates triple intelligent protection mechanisms—guarding against overcharge, overdischarge, and overcurrent—to establish an end-to-end electrical safety framework. Mechanical durability has been validated through rigorous testing under extreme conditions such as vibration, impact, and drop. With a precisely engineered structural design, the batteries remain stable even under complex road conditions. For safety protection, Greenway incorporates IPX7 protection along with high-strength protective materials. The batteries have undergone extreme scenario tests, including compression, submersion, and combustion, resulting in a robust, full-lifecycle safety protection system.
Proactively Responding to the EU Battery Regulation and Advancing Sustainable Development
As the new Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 comes into effect, Greenway is taking the lead in building a battery passport system guided by full-lifecycle regulatory requirements. Through technological innovation, Greenway is driving the industry’s transition toward sustainable development. At the exhibition, Greenway showcased two major technological breakthroughs under its “Battery Passport” initiative:
1.Multidimensional Data Tracking System – Users can quickly access battery traceability information by scanning a product QR code, while Bluetooth and IoT modules enable the creation of an intelligent, connected network. This network allows real-time monitoring of battery health, usage patterns, and remaining useful life (RUL). Such data-driven, real-time monitoring not only offers users a transparent experience but also provides precise lifecycle navigation for batteries. In the future, carbon footprint accounting will be integrated into the system, with carbon emission data across the entire chain—from raw material extraction to recycling—brought under management.
2. Welding-Free Technology - By replacing traditional welding with mechanical interlocking, this innovation eliminates the risk of high-temperature welding damage to battery cells. It also significantly improves assembly and disassembly efficiency, offering structural convenience for future battery maintenance and recycling.
These initiatives not only represent Greenway’s in-depth response to the new regulation, but also serve as a vivid demonstration of its commitment to driving sustainable development within the industry.
At EUROBIKE 2025, Greenway presented its full-scenario E-Bike lithium battery solutions, all certified under EN 50604. In parallel, Greenway demonstrated its proactive alignment with the EU Battery Regulation, showcasing its R&D strength and uncompromising pursuit of product safety through both technical compliance and sustainability.
