Salt Water

This method is not one of the most recommended methods. It's because this method is too slow and sometimes ineffective.

Saltwater is conductive and can discharge your LiPo Battery. The saltwater creates some chemist reaction with the battery and it neutralizes the lithium in the battery. But it will not completely discharge your battery.

Light Bulb

This method is so popular when it comes to discharging your LiPo battery because it is fast and cheap. Try to avoid an LED bulb from using in this method. LED bulb stops discharging at a level and leaves behind a small amount of charge in your battery. You can use a Halogen bulb in this method. A halogen bulb is way more effective than any other method.

You can also use any kind of resistive load instead of a light bulb.

Battery recycling is an activity that intends to decrease the number of batteries being disposed of as municipal fixed waste. Batteries comprise of several substantial metals and toxic chemicals and disposing of them by the same method as conventional trash has raised concerns over soil contamination and water pollution.

These processes can gain cobalt, nickel, copper, and aluminum as well as loads of lithium. Today's recycling processes can recover from 25% TO 96% of the materials from batteries. The recovering percentage depends on the technology used.

" Electrolyte recovery.

The lowest-performing were the hospital and fire service trials although these served their purpose very well for technoscientific battery types like hearing aid and smoke alarm batteries. Retail drop off trials was the second most effective by volume trial but one of the least well-received and used by the public.
