  Calibrating the HP battery is a matter of only a few steps that you can easily do right from the Windows operating system. The following are the steps that you need to follow to calibrate the HP battery manually.

  1.Start the laptop and go to the settings application on the computer

  2.In the settings application, you will need to go to the “System” tab and from there you will need to go to the “Power & sleep” option

  3.Here you will see the Related Settings title beneath which there will be the option “Additional power settings”. Click on that

  4.There will be a new screen in front of you and on the left side, there will be a “Change when to turn off the display” option. You need to click on that and from there you will need to look for the “Change plan settings”

  5.From the next screen that appears you will need to go to the “Change advanced power settings”

  6.Select battery and then click on the “Critical; battery Action” option. You will also need to set it to hibernate and then set the critical battery level to 5%

  7.After applying and saving all of these settings you will need to close all the applications and remove the charger from the laptop as well.

  8.Use the laptop to discharge the battery to the point where it shuts down itself

  9.Wait for a few hours and then plug the charger into the laptop to charge it to 100% while it is turned off

  Use Different Calibration Methods

  Using manual method
